Frequently Asked Questions

1. SHOULD I COME WITH POSES PREPARED?

Simple answer: yes! I always come with my own ideas as well. However, it is helpful for me, especially if this is our first time working together, if you have some ideas so I can learn what your strong suits are and build off of them! If you don't come to the shoot with some ideas, don't stress! I always have my own ideas and general suggestions for poses.

2. DO i have to be comfortable with improv?

Absolutely not! Improv is one of those things that everyone has a love/hate relationship with. You by no means need to be comfortable with it or want to improv. I usually always ask, but if you prefer more posed situations I am happy to give you that!

3. why is the session more than stated on the pricing page

Since I rely on rental studio spaces to host my sessions, a studio deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit amount varies depending on the studio you choose, as each location has its own rental rates. My pricing page reflects the cost of the session itself and does not include the studio rental deposit, allowing you to see the service pricing separately. The studio deposit secures your booking and covers the cost of reserving the space, which helps protect against rental fees incurred in the event of a cancellation.

4. what should i wear?

Short answer: anything you can move in! Anything that makes you feel the most you. Long Answer: I always recommend any long dresses, skirts, or pants to create some movement in your images. Or if you have any fun dancewear like Tiger Friday or FIVE, are also amazing options!

Frequently Asked Questions

5. How do i become an ambassador?

Applications for my Elite Ambassador Program (aged 10-17) open on April 30th every year with a limited number of spots depending on program availability. My Pre-Professional Ambassador Program is unfortunately invite only. Any questions regarding possibilities of ambassadorship can be directed to my email.

6. what is your cancellation policy? could i get a refund?

My turn around time for standard shoots is within 3-5 weeks. I always send sneak peeks one week to 1.5 weeks after our shoot takes place. This gives you the opportunity to get an idea of the final product as well as let me know if there are any changes you want made. Turn around time for studios and dance teams is anywhere from 4-6 weeks depending on the volume of images.

7. what if i arrive late?

I always recommend aiming to arrive at your shoot 15-20 minutes beforehand. This allows buffer time in the case of traffic or set backs. It also gives you time to warm up and get fully ready. If you are late to your shoot, the time starts when you booked for, not when you arrive.

8. Do you post the final images to your social media?

I love to post client work to my social media especially for promoting my work and future photoshoots. However, if I do decide to post work from your shoot, I always make sure I get your consent first as well as get an idea of if there are any pictures you do not want posted. I am very aware of the wide world of social media and want to make sure your privacy is protected at all costs. No consent = no post.
